Graham, Burt honored with
reception at Wright Gallery

Faculty and staff said farewell to Charles Graham and Richard Burt during a reception July 9 at the Wright Gallery hosted by the Department of Construction Science.

Graham, former executive associate dean of the College of Architecture at Texas A&M, is now the dean of the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma.

He is also a professor of construction science and was once the department's interim head at Texas A&M.

Burt, a construction science professor, holder of the James C. Smith CIAC professorship and the department's undergraduate coordinator, is now the head of the School of Building Science at Auburn University.

Their efforts at the College of Architecture were praised by dean Tom Regan and construction science department head Joe Horlen. Graham came to the Aggie campus in 1982; Burt arrived in 2000. Reagan stepped down as dean at the end of July.
