Business office staffer
wins Linda Todd Award

Texas A&M College of Architecture staffer Kevin Gustavus was recently honored for his excellent administrative and customer services in college’s business office, receiving the Linda J. Todd Outstanding Support Staff Achievement Award.

Jorge Vanegas, the college's dean, presented the award to Gustavus, a business administrator, at the Jan. 15 spring faculty/staff meeting.

"Kevin is constantly looking for ways to improve customer service and operations in the business office," said Chris Novosad, assistant dean for finance and administration, in a letter of nomination for the award that also included endorsements by several other co-workers.

"Kevin has a deep and thorough knowledge of business operations for the college, which make him indispensable as a resource for other employees in the business office," said Damon Wallace, business coordinator II. "Even with his knowledge, Kevin continues to strive to learn and develop himself in order to make the business office run as efficiently as possible."

Another nomination came from Trish Pannell, last year's award winner.

"His hard work, dedication, caring attitude and initiative to the college and the university deserve recognition," she said. "Kevin is a valued employee to our college and has always received high praise from faculty, staff, students and guests to our college."
