Vizzer wins multimedia competition
for video highlighting graduate life

 

Texas A&M visualization student Tim Weaver offered a candid peek into graduate student life at Texas A&M in a video that placed first in a multimedia competition sponsored last spring by the university's Office of Graduate Studies.

Weaver, who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas, garnered $3000 for his winning video "Graduate Life." The video poked fun at the filmmaker's long-horned heritage and featured his fellow "Vizzers," or students in the Master of Science in Visualization Science program, as well as other current and former Texas A&M graduate students discussing there studies, projects and, of course, Aggie graduate life.

Two other Vizzers, Igor Kraguljac and Ozgur Gonen, received honorable mention for their contest entries.
