Houston charter schools
students visit college

Approximately 70 students from a Houston charter high school toured the Langford Architecture Center during an Oct. 23 visit to Texas A&M.

It’s one of many tours, some of which include more than 100 visitors, others with just a student and parents, provided by the College of Architecture’s Office of Student Services.

Alex Coleman, a sophomore environmental design major, and other workers in the office took the students, from Houston ISD’s Eastwood Academy, to the center’s three buildings.

Many of the students in the group, said Eastwood’s college access coordinator, Elia Flores, have applied to Texas A&M, some of them to the College of Architecture.
