Bed and breakfast designed by a former
student detailed in Graham newspaper

A former student and a North Texas bed and breakfast he designed for his parents were featured in the Graham Leader newspaper, as well as in Texoma Living magazine.

Matt Maberry, who graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M’s in 1991, set out to create a facility for his mother to exercise and store his mother’s reining horses, but the vision eventually grew into Rancho Sereno: The Inn at Sandy Creek, a country haven for his parents and visitors.

“Surrounded by natural Texas beauty, the inn is snuggled in a grove of trees across from a lake,” wrote Gay Storms in the Leader. “The inn itself boasts an elegant great room, a gourmet kitchen and a screened-in porch, allowing year-round use.”

Maberry worked as a commercial architect in his own firm in Fort Worth but left the city, starting a design/build company that specializes in residential ranch development.

Rancho Sereno is also featured in Texoma Living!  at www.texomaliving.com.
