A senior’s discovery of Germany’s sustainable practices during a trip last summer was chronicled by the Brownsville Herald.
"They’re trying to change, they’re more green over there, there’s a lot more recycling," Caleb Goins told the Herald’s Travis Whitehead in a July 18 article, “Local Aggie studies sustainable practices overseas.” Goins went to high school in the valley town of Santa Rosa, Texas.
While in Europe, he and his fellow Aggies, saw how waste was separated into different containers for recycling purposes. They also traveled to France, visited the Eiffel Tower and took in the sights in Europe.
