Video highlights use
of BIM in architectural
education at Texas A&M

A new video exploring how Building Information Modeling is revolutionizing building design and construction, as well as architectural education at the Texas A&M College of Architecture, is available online at

www.tamus.edu/video/dimensions/

The feature was produced by The Texas A&M University System for its “Dimensions” video series.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. Typically the process employs 3-D, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and construction. The process produces the Building Information Model (also abbreviated BIM), which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and quantities and properties of building components.
