Once erected on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the Aggie Solar Decathlon groHome is now open for public viewing on the grounds of the Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station.
Workers gently brought down the 43-foot tall memorial tower honoring the late professor Alan Stacell last summer after engineers determined that the structure had become unstable. A design competition will be held to replace the monument.
