Texas A&M’s College of Architecture students who studied at the Academy for International Education in Bonn-Dusseldorf Germany in 2006 are now published artists.
Their work appears in “Architectural Design & Typology of Building Forms and their Depiction: Student Work I 2003-08,” a compilation by Anton Markus Pasing, a professor of practice at Texas A&M’s College of Architecture and professor of architecture at the Peter Behrens School of Architecture in Dusseldorf, who gathered the work of visiting Aggies and other students for the book.
Examples of work from students in a spring 2006 semester led by Pasing and Frances Downing, a professor of architecture at Texas A&M, are sprinkled throughout the book.
“This publication displays examples done by students’ illustrations in the field of design and typology of building forms,” states the book’s introduction.
The book was published by Fachhochschule Dusseldorf and the Peter Behrens School of Architecture.
