M.Arch grad Eddington promoted to
associate at Portland, Oregon firm

 

Thane Eddington, who received a Master of Architecture from Texas A&M’s College of Architecture in 2001, has been promoted to associate at Giffin Bolte Jurgens Architects, a firm in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to his M. Arch degree, Eddington earned a Graduate Certificate in Health Facilities Design from Texas A&M and a Bachelor of Science in Botany from Brigham Young University in 1997.

He has nine years of experience in the design and planning of health care projects and has worked with clients that include Oregon Health & Science University, Providence St. Peters Hospital and the Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center.

Eddington, a member of the AIA Architecture for Health Panel, was an American Institute of Architecture Herman Miller Scholar in 2005 and served as a People to People Healthcare Design Leadership Ambassador to China in 2007 with the Caritas Project.

He joined Giffin Bolte Jurgens in 2007 as a project architect.
