Miguel Botello, a project manager with C.T. Hsu + Associates in Orlando, Fla., and a former student in Texas A&M’s College of Architecture, has earned accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
“LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System,” according to the U.S. Green Building Council. “More than 43,000 people have earned the credential since the professional accreditation program was launched in 2001.”
“Green building is no longer a niche trend; it has become an acknowledged best practice,” said firm president C.T. Hsu, FAIA, LEED AP. “Our firm is committed to a strategy of advancing sustainable opportunities both for our employees and our clients,” Hsu added.
Botello is a registered architect with six years’ experience in project management. He earned a Master of Architecture degree in 2002 and a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree in 2000 from Texas A&M University.
