'In Theory' wraps up spring ’10
with 'Sense and Sustainability'

Panelists discussed the role of aesthetics in sustainable design in "Sense and Sustainability," the final spring 2010 installment of the "In Theory" talk show series.

"What, if anything, is substantive about aesthetics and about sustainability?" asked co-moderator Stephen Caffey, assistant professor of architecture, who co-moderated the show with Peter Lang, associate professor of architecture. "Is there such an animal as the aesthetics of sustainability?"

Mardelle Shepley and Phill Tabb, professors of architecture, and Kristie Sweet, assistant professor of philosophy, addressed these and other questions about the topic.
