Jay H. Rambo, who earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture in 1996, has been named a principal in F&S Partners, a Dallas-based architecture, interior design and planning firm.
A 12-year employee at F&S Partners, Rambo will be one of six partners in the firm and will lead its university studio.
“We are excited about this firm’s new leaders as they begin a new chapter in our firm’s history,” said Ronald J. Shaw, AIA, chief executive
officer of F&S Partners. “We are confident that they will continue F&S Partners’ tradition of adding value to our clients’ projects by offering project-specific expertise and outstanding client service that has been our trademark.”
The F&S site touts Rambo’s experience with the company, which began when he was an environmental design student at Texas A&M.
“Rambo joined F&S Partners as an intern in June 1994 and continued on after graduation to grow with the company,” states the site. “Rambo has served a number of roles at F&S Partners, including project manager and team member where he has developed his talents in all aspects of the architectural process.”
Rambo has been involved in the design and production of numerous sports and recreation projects, including the Recreation and Wellness Center Phase II at University of Texas at San Antonio, and phase I and II of a kinesiology facilities project at Texas A&M—Corpus Christi.
Founded in 1962, F&S Partners specializes in educational, religious and recreational facilities for institutions and municipalities across Texas.
