Funders’ Forum brings nonprofit
agencies, grant makers together

Nonprofit agencies had a chance Oct. 24 to bolster their fund-raising efforts at the Funders’ Forum, co-hosted by the Texas A&M University College of Architecture’s Center for Housing and Urban Development and A Circle of Ten, Inc.

The forum, which took place at the Brazos Center in Bryan, brought representatives from nonprofit agencies together with 45 government public and private grant makers from across Texas and the nation.

The Forum offered nine funding panels focusing on funds for arts and humanities, economic development, education, health and human services, housing and infrastructure, libraries, museums and historic restoration, workforce, and volunteerism.

Grant making agency representatives sat on panels in their areas of interest, provided exhibit tables, and offered one-on-one consultations to would-be grantees throughout the day.
