800+ 'fans' subcribe to
college's Facebook page

 

The Texas A&M College of Architecture's Facebook page has gained over 800 fans since launching last February on the popular Web network.

People, especially students, use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people and institutions they encounter.

The College of Architecture regularly posts news, events, photos and videos on its Facebook page to keep "fans" up to date on current events on and off campus.

Non-fans can view part of the page, but Facebook members can access additional features and may also post notes, photos and videos of their own. Fans also receive updates on special college activities.

To become a Facebook user, visit http://www.facebook.com/ and create a personal page. Individual Facebook users can control access to their personal site by adjusting privacy settings.

To find the college page, use the Facebook search function and enter “Texas A&M University College of Architecture.”
