Ndubisi to serve as VP, board member
of Landscape Architecture Foundation

 

Forster Ndubisi, head of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Texas A&M’s College of Architecture, has accepted an invitation to serve in two capacities at the Landscape Architecture Foundation.

Ndubisi will be serving as the foundation’s vice president for information and research and as a member of its executive committee.

The Landscape Architecture Foundation is dedicated to advancing education, research, and communication in landscape architecture. Past board members have included CEOs of the largest landscape architecture and multidisciplinary firms nationally and internationally, as well as presidents and past presidents of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

A professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and & Urban Planning, Ndubisi earned a Ph.D. in regional planning & resource development at the University of Waterloo in 1987, a Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph in 1982, and a B.S in zoology/ecology) at the University of Ibadan, in Nigeria in 1977.

His scholarly interests focus on ecological design and planning, community design, growth management, and interdisciplinary design education.
