Diversity challenges facing the construction industry, education and business organizations, in general, were examined Dec. 5, 2003 at Texas A&M University as part of a discussion among noted construction industry leaders, university officials and students.

The presentation, "Building Excellence Through Diversity: Partnering with the Construction Industry" was sponsored by the Department of Construction Science in the Texas A&M's College of Architecture.

The conference was moderated by William A. Guillory, an accomplished physical chemist and founder of Innovations International Inc. Guillory is an authority on personal and organizational transformation and has presented more than 4,000 seminars throughout the world on diversity, empowerment and innovation.
