Robert Segner, professor of construction science
at Texas A&M
University, has been appointed vice president of the American
Council for Construction Education (ACCE), the accreditation
body for some 67 construction science programs throughout the
United
States.
The vice presidency is a two-year term with subsequent ascendancy
to a two-year term as president.
Segner, a member of the Texas A&M faculty since 1969, specializes
in construction management, project delivery systems, construction
materials and methods, continuing education of all kinds, and
distance learning.
He hold an M.Arch. with a focus in construction management and
a B.S. in architectural construction. Both from Texas A&M
University.
